Yoga is a path towards yourself, one of them, perhaps the most complete.
About Andreea
Yoga is a journey, towards you. For Andreea, it started more than 25 years ago. As a child, raised in a family of many doctors, she surprisingly and almost miraculously discovered, in a library, a thin, black-and-white book with the title “Yoga”, describing meditation and breathing techniques along with some asanas and her intuition said: “yes, it is part of your path”. Meditation was the first and eternal love, the first revelation, her practice evolved through introspection and dedication, and became an essential component of each day, searching further as well with enthusiasm any other little piece of knowledge available in those times. Thus, the years of childhood and adolescence laid the foundations of a practice that would accompany her for the rest of her life.
Further on, she graduated the University of Architecture and followed a long career in construction and design, still active. A beautiful road but one that requires you to be in the best mental, physical and emotional shape, creativity, stress resilience, endurance, concentration, presence. However, she always had at hand the tools initiated in childhood, further developed as a way of life, along with nutrition, alternative therapies, and here she found her balance, strength, inner calm, joy and physical health. The beginning of the pandemic unfortunately came along with a devastating medical diagnosis for dear person and a difficult and agonizing period. Meditation and the entire yoga practice were then, again, the great support, and she deepened the practice from the perspective of relieving and coping with anxiety, fear, PTSD and emotional healing, and she followed the Yoga Teacher Training accredited by Yoga Alliance within FS, followed by other similar meditation, mindfulness, pranayama and yin yoga courses. Because she always wanted to facilitate others’ access to the practice, she realized that the time had come to share the practice and thus teach group classes. Her journey will go on, probably during her entire life. She is honoured for all the moments in which your journeys will cross paths. Yoga brings her the joy and simplicity of being. Here and now.
She invites you to classes, join and practice together. All her classes have a holistic approach – physical, mental, emotional – and contain, as per subject, the physical practice of postures, but also meditation and mindfulness, breathing techniques and sound healing.
